What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a family of Web feed formats used to publish frequently updated content such as blog entries, news headlines or podcasts. An RSS document, which is called a "feed," "web feed," or "channel," contains either a summary of content from an associated web site or the full text. RSS makes it possible for people to keep up with their favorite web sites in an automated manner that's easier than checking them manually.

Do I need permission to put one of your feeds on our Web site?
Yes, you will need to contact the Site Administrator for permission to use any of our feeds on another site. As we have copyrighted content available on the site, we are unable to authorize the use of the material anywhere else without clearing it with the content authors first.
How do I put an RSS feed on my desktop?
RSS content can be read using software called an "RSS reader", "feed reader" or an "aggregator". There are many RSS-reading desktop applications available, including Feedreader, Headline Viewer and Net Newswire (Mac OS X). Some are even available as browser extensions. You can see Google's listing here. You'll need to download and install one of those applications on your system. You can then subscribe to a feed by entering the feed's link into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process. The reader checks your subscribed feeds regularly for new content, downloading any updates that it finds.
